Mid Century Teak 'Fonseca' Extending Dining Table by Younger

A beautiful mid century Danish style extending teak 'Fonseca' dining table designed by John Herbert for Younger from the 1960's, easily seating four chairs unextended and six with the extension. The table was produced in relatively low numbers so rarely comes to the market. It features tapered solid afromosia legs and sides with teak veneered table top.

The matching chairs, mirror and the salt and peppers pots in the photograph are also listed for sale separately.

Condition:

The table is in good restored vintage condition with some age related marks and scuffs to the sides of the table and the extension section has a slightly newer finish than the ends which is common for extendable tables. To extend the table the ends pull apart to reveal the extending section which rotates and folds out easily. The mechanism is in good working order and can be used with ease by one person. The leaves are a little stiff to open having been infrequently extended.

    Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase.  Cancellations are subject to a £25 charge to cover card merchant services and admin fees.  If a courier has already been booked and paid for the full cost of the delivery will be charged to the customer (Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture subsidises 50% of delivery charges)

    My third party courier delivers furniture throughout Mainland England & Wales for a flat fee of £59.

    Delivery to Mainland Scotland (excluding Highlands) is charged at a flat fee of £89.

    For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, and other remote areas, please contact me for a quote.

    All deliveries are subject to a handling fee of £15
